Name the most influential person in your riding career and why:

Definately my Mum, Janelle Price as she has been my biggest mentor and number one supporter, I look up to her immensely as a fellow competitor and it is thanks to her that I have acheived so much.

Describe your riding history:

Coming from a rural background horses have always been a part of my everyday life. My Dad Bill Little is a Drover so all of my early childhood and every school holiday was spent on the back of a horse behind 2000 odd head of cattle or mustering. Dad competes in Campdrafting and Cutting and my Mum used to Draft but now only Barrel Races, I naturally Drafted & Barrel Raced as a youngen but decided that Barrel Racing was the sport for me and I have never looked back!! Titles include;

  • 94, 96, 98, 99 & 2000 QRA (Queensland Rodeo Assoc.) Juvenile Barrel Racing Champion
  • 98, 99 & 2000 QRA Ladies Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2002 APRA Pro Tour Junior Barrel Racing & Junior All Round Champion
  • 2002 APRA Rookie Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2005 APRA Pro Tour Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2005 APRA Australian Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2007 APRA Pro Tour Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2009 APRA Australian Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2010 APRA Australian Barrel Racing Champion
  • 2010 ABCRA Australian Barrel Racing Champion
  • Boree Bar, 2010 ABCRA Barrel Racing Horse of the Year
  • Numerous Circuit Titles with both the APRA & ABCRA

Special highlight(s) in your riding career:

Winning both the Pro Tour and the Australian Barrel Racing Titles with the APRA (Australian Professional Rodeo Association) in 2005 and more recently winning both the APRA & ABCRA (Australian Bushmans Campdraft & Rodeo Assoc.) Australian Barrel Racing Titles for 2010.

What are your ambitions?

To continue to be sucessful in my chosen field of Barrel Racing for many years to come on horses that myself and my family have bred and trained.

Have you trained or coached any riders who have had success?

Not per say but I am always happy to give advice where needed.

Special care and management considerations of your horse(s):

I travel consistently throughout the the year so nutrition, exercise, shoeing, teeth and massage are paramount to a happy, healthy, competitive horse.

Which Pryde's feeds do you use and why do you like them?

I feed both EasiPerformance and EasiResponse combined to my good competition horse Boree Bar, my younger competion horses get fed a combination of EasiResult and EasiResponse, youngens in early work get fed EasiRide as it is a great economical product and Broodmares and Weanlings are fed BioMare Cubes.

How will Pryde's Sponsorship make a difference to you?

Becoming a Prydes EasiFeed Team member has made me more aware of the importance of good nutrition and a balanced diet. It has also allowed me to keep all of my horses in full feed.

What do you think you can do to make a difference for Pryde's?

I will promote the Pryde's EasiFeed line to the best of my ability as it is a product that I truely believe in. I'm always getting asked what I feed my horses so this allows me to encourage others to make the change to Pryde's EasiFeed. I also deal abit through out the year with the media eg. magazines, paper's & television giving the Pryde's logo good exposure.
