EasiFeed Riding Team
Report: Chris Chugg
Tuesday, 18 March 2008
With the looming prospect of going away for several months, February has proved extremely hectic. We have over 50 horses on the place and a new rider, Brett Davey, has joined us to help get the young horses worked.
A couple of jump club starts have kept the youngsters going out, and an Elite Squad Clinic kept the older horses (and riders) thinking.
The last of the foals hit the ground this month, making a small crop of 5 this year - a nice change from the large numbers and work load of last season.
Vivant has been having a very busy stud season with collections 4 to 5 times a week. He doesn't complain too much about that though.
So February has been a very busy and productive month.
