Name the most influential person in your riding career and why:

My Mum Leanne Bruggemann and my dad Richard Bruggemann. I grew up mainly watching my mum ride but both of them has had a huge impact in my career so far and I wouldn't be where I am today without them and their continuous support.

Describe your riding history:

I started riding a the age of 2, a Shetland pony named Oscar. I started of showing horses and still did some jumping but mainly showing until the age of 10 when I just took up show jumping. I was 12 when I started competing in juniors at some of the bigger shows. From there I stated ding more shows with mum and when I was about 15 we started travelling interstate to do shows. I started in my first World Cup at the age of 18 which is the age your allowed to start. I've had many great junior and young rider horses to help me through the ranks. I'm now 21 turning 22 so I'm now only able to compete in senior or open classes. I've been riding my entire life and I can't imagine doing anything else.

Special highlight(s) in your riding career:

3rd Gatton World Cup 2014, 3rd Gawler World Cup 2014, Guley cup winner 2012&2014, SA State Young Rider Title winner 2012,2013&2015, SA State Senior Title winner 2013, Showcase of show jumping silver final winner 2014, Boneo Park cup silver final winner 2016, Australian Young Rider Grand Prix Winner 2015, Australian Young Rider Champion 2015

What are your ambitions?

To compete at Tokyo for WEG 2018 and hopefully the following Olympics

Have you trained or coached any riders who have had success?

Not at this stage but I'd love to

Special care and management considerations of your horse(s):

My horses are very well cared for. They have an Equissage once or twice a day. Whenever they have been jumped they are iced using the fantastic Ice Vibe Boots. They are always given something to replenish their electrolytes and to help aid muscle recovery. They also have fans that go into the stables when it is hot and when at home they have misters and fans to help keep cool on 40+ degree days in SA

Which Pryde’s feeds do you use and why do you like them?

I use EasiSport, EasiResponse, EasiResult, Bio Mare and Easi Oil. I love all these feeds because they all meet the needs for the horses. As someone that travels over Australia doing a lot of shows it's important that the horses are getting the right feed to help them perform at 100% and I strongly believe that Prydes do exactly that. My horses have never looked or performed better than what they are now being on those feeds!
