Name the most influential person in your riding career and why:
Heath Ryan - Because he can train any horse to do what he wants it to.
Rodger Federer - His approach towards how you take on a challenge.
Describe your riding history:
I started with race horses. I was breaking them in and Pre-Training them then I went onto Arabs.
I now solely concentrate on Dressage and run Janjic Performance Horses which specialises in the development of dressage horses. Django of Cacharel has gone from breaking in all the way to Grand Prix with me.
Special highlight(s) in your riding career:
A highlight has been riding Django of Cacharel at the Equitana Dressage Grand Final and the Pacific League World Cup Final Qualifier for the past two years. It is by invitation only so it was very special to be a part of these events.
What are your ambitions?
To train my horses to Grand Prix (hopefully a Django of Cacharel offspring).
Have you trained or coached any riders who have had success?
My focus has been developing young performance horses some of which have gone onto Grand Prix including Django of Cacharel, Byalee Magic and Victory Salute. I'm looking to move into coaching riders.
Special care and management considerations of your horse(s):
Django of Cacharel is on a strict diet as he gets fat easily. Pryde's has helped me maintain the optimum energy for high level competitions whilst keeping an athletic build.
Which Pryde's feeds do you use and why do you like them?
Pryde’s EasiSport, Pryde's ReBuild and Pryde’s EasiResponse for the performance horses. My horse’s look and feel great on the feed as it is a very balanced diet.
How will Pryde's Sponsorship make a difference to you?
Their assistance with dietary management of my own and clients' horses has been fantastic and they are always available for consultation on my horses’ diets. My horses always feel and look fantastic on their Pryde’s diets. It is great to be a part of such a supportive team.
