Describe your riding history:
I started riding at a very young age. I did pony club, showing, show jumping and eventing. My permeants both rode competitively and successfully. I focused on eventing and had dreams of going to the Olympics! I moved interstate at 19 yo and enjoyed the journey until I met my husband and lost the desire for eventing. My Mum was breeding warmbloods for dressage and the exciting path and journey was opened for the new thrill of Grand Prix dressage.
Special highlights in your riding career:
I twice represented Australia as a young rider in the Trans Tasman Eventing Championships. Have been a member of the national B squad for the Beijing Olympics. National Jr 3DE champion. I am a NCAS level 3 dressage specialist. I have trained riders to Grand Prix, State Squads and National completions. Currently my most high profile is a para listed WEG rider Amanda Parsons.
Special care and management considerations of your horses:
I think it is very important to have the time to be personally involved with all aspects of the care and riding of each individual horse.
Which Pryde’s feeds do you use and why do you like them?
I use EasiSport, EasiFiber, BioMare Cubes, EasiResult Rebuild and EasiOil. I like that my horses maintain there weight on the EasiSport and EasiFiber without the fizz! The Rebuild helps the muscles develop and repair after work. The BioMare Cubes is great for all my breeding and young growing horses. Also EasiResult is great to get fussy horses to eat.
What do you think you can do to make a difference for Pryde’s?
My horses are always admired for there condition and performance. I coach the most successful dressage and event riders in the state.
