Connie and I went really well at Nationals. Placing third in all three of our tests with one only being 0.2% away from second. I am SO proud of her and the way she held herself and performed at her first big competition.

July consisted of one of our big shows for the year – Paradise Lagoons. We had a very successful show there with Karl ending up 2nd in the Novice draft on Peter Doonan’s Moore Spoonful – nearly getting a hat trick having won the Novice there for the last two years...

Dayboro Show was at the beginning of July and it was a huge success. Sam and Eddy both jumped and performed superbly. Oscar still wasn’t 100% so he stayed home. Sam came home with 2 wins and a 3rd place. He really is enjoying the show run at the moment...

I went to the Brisbane CDI on the weekend with Connie. She performed really really well. First day scoring 68.88% and on the second day she scored 66.768% with one judge scoring 69.5% and the other on 64.0245 which was a shame and brought out percent down a lot...
Qb competed at Fig Tree Pocket ODE on the weekend. We stepped back up to Prelim and all went well. He jumped the best he has in a long time
Eddy nearly topped 70% in his dressage test which is a huge achievement! Both of the young horses jumped super all weekend.
Mackenzie and “Roseden Class Act” have also qualified for Grand Nationals 2016 having won the hotly contested Childs Galloway class at the Northern NSW Grand National qualifier at Lismore.
We placed 3rd at our lat One Day Event at Tamborine Equestrian Centre in the PreNovice Class. Our 3rd attempt at this level. We also received Reserve Champion in the Grade IV Para Classes held over the weekend at the CDG Great Southern Championships 2015.

My horse Cameo Silver Bellz started out with 340 other horses and the overall completion rate was 60%. It was a tough and challenging track, true Quilty material. We completed the 160 km in 17.5 hrs with great final heartrates and gut sounds. Thank you to Prydes Easi Feed for our sponsor ship.
In early March I made my way down to a Client’s place in southwest Western Australia who is involved in the running of the Mayanup Campdraft. The Mayanup Campdraft is a favourite for locals on the southern WA Campdraft Calendar, nestled amongst the lemon-scented gums and rolling hills just 15 kilometres southeast of WA’s country music capital, Boyup Brook.
Super-fun weekend at the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular. Had a blast, all three horses won their led classes in quality company.
Riverside Ashes competed in the Preliminary 1.2 test for a 2nd place with 69.42%. Willow Rio Dane (owned by Jan & John Mansfield) competed in the Preliminary and the Novice classes. She placed 4th in the 1.2 test with 66.05% and we are still awaiting the results for the novice.
