July consisted of one of our big shows for the year – Paradise Lagoons. We had a very successful show there with Karl ending up 2nd in the Novice draft on Peter Doonan’s Moore Spoonful – nearly getting a hat trick having won the Novice there for the last two years! Karl was also 5th in the Restricted Open draft on Oaks Penny and a commendable 9th place in the Mort & Co Open Draft on R & C Mckittricks Rookie mare, Lectric Kellie. Felicity was also 2nd in the under 5 Stockmans Challenge on Elsola Rey. A wonderful week had by Diamond K Performance Horses. Thanks a lot Prydes for helping our horses to look and feel so well. In the meantime, we are back in the daily grind until a few Southern drafts in September.
