Lang News For June

The Chris and Sharon Lang training barn had 5 wins during June including a training double and a Group 2 win. Our first winners for the month came up on the 11th when we travelled down to Geelong and had 2 winners. For both horses it was also there first career win. Aldebaran Seismic, a 4yo having only his third start won by over 12 metres suggesting that there should be a few more wins ahead. Master Hugh made the wait till the final race on the program worthwhile by also registering his maiden win at only his second race start. He is only a 3yo so we hope he gets better with age. The next night on the 12th at our local track, Shepparton, the promising 4yo Lord Liam won his sixth race from 21 starts.

Our good week continued when the next night on the 13th at Melton we were able to win the Group 2 Holmfield for 3yo trotters. One Over Da Moon only recently arrived from his native New Zealand so it was a great way to start our association. He backed up again on the 25th for another good win at Cobram. With the rich Breeders Crown just around the corner, we will be hoping for more spoils.
