The last month has been a busy but successful month at Windsor Park.
The Clydesdales competed at the Scenic Rim Clydesdale Spectacular early in the month. This was a successful day, with Windsor Park Coco Chanel and Dondale Dreamer both winning their classes, and Eucalypt Park Chieftain coming second in his class, and going on to take home Reserve Champion gelding.
The following weekend the Clydesdales made another appearance at the Commonwealth Clydesdale Horse Society Queensland Junior and Gelding Championships. This was another successful day, with Windsor Park Coco Chanel was second in her class and taking home Reserve Champion Junior. Dondale Dreamer won his class, and was awarded Champion Gelding, and Eucalypt Chieftain was also second in his open gelding class.
Jaybee Jaffa made her second appearance at Prix St George, and put down a solid, albeit still green, performance for a great score of 66% and a pleasant 4th placing in a great line-up of horses.
The following weekend was Brisbane CDI, and I was really thrilled with Jaffa's effort over the event, even with a big scare on a really windy day in the advanced when a large metal pot-plant holder was blown down a flight of stairs, which had still shaken her confidence the following day, so no great results to report, but a solid effort from a generous and super mare.
